2006 Thai-Menghai Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake
Notice: Undefined variable: count_reviews in /home/zcrafts/test_html/catalog/view/theme/cosyone/template/product/product.tpl on line 85The uniqueness of this tea is in its story. This Ripe Pu-erh is made of Thai trees (200-700-year-old) material but fermented and pressed in Yunnan (Menghai) and brought back to Thailand for storage.
This Shou (Ripe Pu-erh) turned out excellent, with slight acidity and a rich variety of woody-nutty tones. Very "working" and understandable puer will please both, experienced connoisseurs and beginners. Perfectly transparent infusion. The stock is very limited.

I'm a bit conflicted about this tea- the base material is great, and you feel it from brews 7-12 (and probably more), as it has good body/taste/qi.. really, a good shu in later steeps... but for the first 6 brews it has a little bit of fermentation taste, as if the process they chose was a little of..
This taste is not overwhelming though, so if I can get past it I'll buy a cake...
