2018 Dong Ding Oolong Tea, Medium Roasted

During storage, the tea was warmed up twice: in September 2019 and in January 2020. It turned out smooth and mild, without a hint of excess fire.
On the palate, there are rich and creamy notes, tropical fruits, honey, flowers. Fruit and honey reminiscent of Gui Fei, but only at first glance.
This Dong Ding is almost impossible to overbrew, it remains soft and gentle through all the tea session. Partly due to the specificity of the autumn material, but mainly due to the masterful processing. This is easily seen by steeped leaves: an even dark olive leaf color, the twist gently unfolds into solid flushes.
For those who love soft and sweet oolongs. For those who value classical processing and do not pursue the brutal intensity of tastes.
